Nick Barth

Nick Barth, CEO of Lloyd Gage & Tool, leads the third-generation family business with a clear vision and a proven track record. A 2018 West Virginia University business management graduate, Nick launched his career in the mortgage industry, helping thousands of veteran families boost their savings and credit with a focus on customer experience. His skills—sales, technology, training, marketing, management, and recruiting—delivered impressive results: breaking sales records, topping production charts, earning annual President’s Club honors, and expanding operations from Maryland to Florida. He streamlined workflows to boost efficiency and revenue per employee, built businesses and mentored teams, and hired hundreds of professionals along the way.

After six years in corporate leadership, Nick returned to Lloyd Gage & Tool, stepping into the CEO role on January 20, 2025. Raised on his grandfather’s grit and his father’s discipline, he grew up in the business—stocking shelves as a kid before partnering with his dad. Together, they uphold the Barth family’s third-generation legacy of hard work, integrity, and customer dedication.

Nick aims to grow Lloyd Gage & Tool by adding value for existing clients and reaching new ones, especially in aerospace, military, automotive, and medical manufacturing. In an industry where big firms increasingly acquire smaller players, Nick doubles down on the old-school service and technical expertise that’s defined the company since 1959—delivering high-performance cutting tools, abrasives, fluids, and smart inventory solutions. Now, as CEO, he works hand-in-hand with his father, sharing a vision to carry that legacy forward, strengthening a business where relationships and results drive success.
